Today Shippr is looking for an Admin Officer to join and help the team to tackle its growing challenges.
You will be tasked with supporting company leadership and supervising administrative department activities, most notably by helping our CFO with bookkeeping and data entry into our ERP Netsuite, managing disputes and by following-up on bill reminders.
Your role will be (but not limited to) to help managing financial and administrative systems, procedures and operations by working hand-in-hand with our Chief Financial Officer and assist him in his daily work, would it be by taking care of bookkeeping and administration of invoices and accounting documents or managing payroll. You’ll also be tasked to manage a small team of 1 which will eventually grow as the company continues to rise.
What will be your responsibilities ?
Finance
- Help take care of bookkeeping and administration of invoices and accounting documents
- Managing data entry and staying up-to-date with our ERP (Netsuite)
- Monitoring expenditures against budgets
- Following-up on bill reminders and solving common financial disputes
- Manage the cashflow by monitoring the ins and outs
- Manage grants claims with the help of the CFO
- Work hand in hand with the tech team to improve our admin processes and tools
Admin & HR
- Liaise with the Social Secretariat on relevant matters
- Helping the CFO by sharing his daily workload
- Managing payroll with our partners
- Helping on any clerical activites
- Helping staying up to date with different national regulations from countries where Shippr is active, would it be France, Belgium, United-Kingdom,...
Customer Support
- Accounts reconciliation and managing claims
- Answer emails and maintain relationships with our suppliers and customers
What are our requirements ?
- Degree in accountancy and or finance/business administration or other related studies
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a role similar to this position
- Experience with book-keeping and soft accountancy
- Professional fluency in oral and written English and French. Additional EU languages would be an asset.
- High proficiency in use of software systems : Google Sheets/Excel, Slack, Emailing,...
- Previous experience with Netsuite would be an asset
